Go back to the manager of Topolla and give her the diamond.

She will rip up the contract and set the Runaway Five free.

The Runaway Five will burst into the room and thank you for setting them free once again!

Go into the Theater and enjoy yet another trilling performance by the Runaway Five plus the new singer Venus.

This is the Runaway Five's last show, so make sure not to miss it!

Go back to the Fourside Department Store and you will find that it's back in business.

If you talk to the mouse at the base of the escalators you'll get some foreshadowing about what is to come.

Don't buy anything for Paula for now. Make sure that any items you want to have access to are moved over to either Ness or Jeff's inventory. And definitely if Paula has the Franklin Badge or the Pencil Eraser make sure to give it to Ness or Jeff. You will need them.

There is one of the shady salesmen in a back room on the second floor that can sell you some Big Bottle Rockets, make sure to stock up on those for Jeff.

When you try to leave the Department Store you are accosted by a green alien who kidnaps Paula.

The alien will talk over the loud speaker and tell you to come to the 4th floor.

On your way back upstairs you'll encounter a variety of enemies.

Be careful as they are pretty strong and without Paula you have less firepower and less turns.

If you encounter two many enemies at once you you may want to throw one of those Big Bottle Rockets at them to even the odds.

In the office on the 4th floor you'll find the the Dept. Store Spook.

From the outset of the battle make sure you give him everything you've got.  Throw Big Bottle Rockets and Rokin β at him until he is defeated.

If you don't defeat him fast he will likely overwhelm you.

After you defeat him he will tell you that Paula is at the Monotoli Building.
