Dr. Andonuts has been working the Apple Kid to build the Phase Distorter II but something is missing.
He asks you if you've seen a meteorite recently.
Think back to the beginning of the game.
Teleport to Onett and you'll find that something is very odd.
The townsfolk are all indoors, nobody will even answer their door. It's like they are in lockdown.
Ness's Mom warns there are a bunch of monsters running rampant.
Your hometown is under siege.
Mom will offer some steak if you need to rest.
As you head towards the meteor crash site, you'll find the dogs/snakes/crows have been replaced with powerful enemies.
Keep your HP up as much as you can unless you want to find yourself visiting a hospital.
If an Evil Eye gets one of your party diamondized with it's glare, you can use Healing ฮณ to cure it.
If anyone needs to be revived you might also already have Healing ฮฉ depending on your level. Check the psi sheet to see when you'll get it.
At the crash site, check the meteor and you'll get the Meteorite Piece needed to finish the Phase Distorter II.
You can Teleport ฮฒ right from that spot if you position yourself just right. It may take a few tries but it definitely works.
Time to head back to Saturn Valley!
